All Beginner to Advanced Lift At Home programs require only minimal equipment—no complex gym machines needed—making them super accessible and convenient, so you can easily workout right at home. Our programs offer 4- or 6-week plans featuring split-muscle focused workouts with weekly targeted upper- and lower-body training days designed to help you gain strength, lose body fat, and actually see results. No more wasting time wondering, “is this even working?” Instead, feel confident knowing the results WILL come as you continue to show up. About Me
Hi, I’m Laura Shaaya — a wife, mom of three, and registered nurse turned women’s strength training coach. With over 10 years as a nurse, I spent my early career educating patients on how to balance real life with true wellbeing—lessons I now bring to every program I create.
My passion for health and fitness deepened through my own transformation. After pregnancies, breastfeeding, and mom life, I hit my heaviest during Covid—exhausted, frustrated, and barely recognizing myself in the mirror. In 2020, I discovered convenient at-home workouts, building consistency from scratch with HIIT and light weights. I struggled to stay disciplined at first, but I eventually learned to show up no matter what. Within 6 months, I shed 25+ pounds and gained confidence—but I wanted more than just smaller; I wanted strong and sculpted.
That’s when I shifted my routine: I built a small home gym, switched to heavy lifting 4-5 days a week, prioritized protein and macro-based nutrition, and used progressive training. The result? A lean, strong, resilient physique that is sustainable to maintain—along with a complete shift in energy, confidence, and mental strength. Currently in my 40s, I look and feel better than ever. Strength training hasn’t just transformed my body, but my entire life.
Now, through my app and strength-based programs, I help women through all life stages achieve the same lasting transformation: building muscle, losing fat, and mastering sustainable nutrition so they can feel powerful, eat more over time, and maintain results for life.

I created this app because I saw a common disconnect: people train hard but don’t get the results they want.
In my own fitness journey, I followed random online workouts and group classes, grinding day after day with no real progress. I realized I was doing a lot, but not the right things. WeLift bridges that gap. Every workout is carefully designed to make your time training truly pay off.
My goal through this app is to make effective, results-driven training accessible and affordable for everyone—because nothing is more frustrating than knowing you’re capable of more but feeling stuck. I designed the Lift At Home programs for maximum convenience: easy-to-follow workouts using minimal equipment, so you can train effectively at home without a gym membership. This app will help you build real strength, grow your confidence, and help you become the strongest and best version of yourself.
Consistency is key. While it’s tempting to jump on Instagram for random workouts or hop between unstructured group classes, constantly switching your training is one of the worst things you can do for your progress. WeLift is all about following a specifically designed plan to help you gain strength, lose body fat, and actually see results from the work you’re putting in! No more wasting time wondering, “is this even working?” Instead, feel confident in the exercises you’re doing knowing the results WILL come as you continue to show up.
For years, I’ve been dedicated to improving my own fitness, experimenting with all sorts of workout styles along the way. Out of everything I’ve tried, strength training has consistently delivered the best results for me—and it’s the approach I rely on when coaching the women I work with. That’s why I’m thrilled to offer programs centered around lifting weights, designed to help you build real strength, boost your self-confidence, and sculpt the body you’ve always wanted. Each program runs for a set period, structured to incorporate progressive overload so you can keep challenging yourself and see the results you want with steady progress.
A gym membership is not required for the Lift At Home Programs as long as you have some basic workout equipment in your home. I recommend creating a basic at-home workout space with some dumbbells to start, a bench, mat and some basic resistance bands. As you progress in your lifting journey, you can always add on equipment as you need (such as a barbell). I built my entire physique at home with minimal basic equipment—never having the need to step into a gym! WeLift is designed to give women the accessibility and convenience of home-gym style workouts made simple and effective.
Absolutely! I’ve designed the Beginner 1.0–3.0 training programs especially for those just starting out. They’re an ideal introduction to proper strength training, complete with detailed form tips and instructional videos to help you perform every exercise safely and correctly. As you build strength and confidence, you can easily move on to the intermediate and advanced programs available right in the app!
Yup! As much as I love my time training, I know full well that workouts are just one small piece of the puzzle when it comes to getting real results. That’s why I’ve dedicated entire sections to nutrition strategies and detailed macro guidance. In the Nutrition Guide and Macro Book (found in the Extras section of my app), you’ll find practical tools like recipes, breakdowns of macros, grocery lists, helpful tracking tips, and much more.
